Michael Lagazo is a commercial real estate executive and advisor specializing in investment sales, capital markets, and advisory services, with a focus on single-tenant net lease and retail properties. Licensed in Arizona and California, he brings more than 20 years of executive leadership to every engagement.

Over his career, Michael has completed 841 commercial real estate transactions and led more than $393.6 million in retail development and acquisition activity, along with significant leasing and portfolio initiatives for national owners, operators, and retailers. His experience includes 35 ALDI stores (approximately $210 million in development activity) and 27 Mister Car Wash locations (approximately $183.6 million), plus $501,000 in recent leasing contract value.

Michael advises property owners, institutional and private investors, family offices, high-net-worth and accredited investors, developers, and corporate occupiers on acquisitions, dispositions, investment sales, leasing, site selection, development, and portfolio strategy. His leadership experience includes managing portfolios exceeding 2 million square feet, overseeing significant operating and capital budgets, improving NOI and occupancy, reducing occupancy costs, executing multi-state expansion programs, and leading teams of up to 168 professionals.

Michael has also held prominent ICSC leadership positions, including Chair, San Diego and Chair, Southern California, strengthening relationships across the investment, ownership, development, retail, and brokerage communities. He holds an MBA and a dual Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing.
